Amazon EC2 C6in instances are designed for network-heavy tasks including network virtual appliances, data analytics, HPC, and CPU-based AI/ML. Powered by 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Ice Lake) with a 3.5 GHz all-core turbo frequency, these instances offer up to 200 Gbps of network bandwidth and 80 Gbps of EBS bandwidth. The C6in.32xlarge and C6in.metal sizes also support Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA), ideal for applications needing high internode communication, such as HPC with MPI libraries.
